E720 unlocking and searching for winimei C200

Hello,

I've a samsung E720 and wanted to unlock it. I am searching for solutions and find out that i can unlock it with a E810 data cable and with Winimei C200. I've been searching for Winimei all over the internet and couldn't find it. Does anybody knows how to get it and is this the right solution.

Let me explain - I purchased a e720 on orange contract, I then lost the phone and orange sent me a new one, I then found my old phone, but it is now blocked.

When I insert sim card it says "limited service" camera, bluetooth, games, etc etc all work, but it will not make or recieve txt or calls.

I was told that if orange have blocked it I can put another sim card from someone else and it would work, so I purchased an O2 card, and yep this worked. Right, so everything is OK.... not quite it worked for 2 days and now it has been blocked on O2 as well.

I have read that I can unblock by changing the IMEI and re-flashing the phone. So following instructions I got an e810 cable (its a USB one) but things aint going well. If I turn phone off and plug the cable in, the 2 flash lights come on constantly, dont know if this is what it is supposed to do or not, and if I turn phone on, the lights go out.

However everything I have tried on the computer is not working - i.e the method above - says in the screen on the program "Serial: COM1 Open" followed on the next line by "ft_ErrorManage <-" and then lastly "FAILED"

Any help guys?

They cant arrest me for talking about it and finding out how it is done.... it only becomes an offence if I actually do it, beside I know most the local bacon and they are more corrupt than me.

can anyone let me know how to connect this phone to the computer via serial cable, i have the correct cable and a 9v battery that is charged, ive done it many times on the d500 but i try it with this phone and it doesnt go into tat mode or anything it just loads up as normal??
