View Full Version : Nokia 3310 does not ring!!!

Can someone tell me why my nokia 3310 will not ring. It does all other functions accept for ringing. Is this that the ringer needs changing or is a component fault. It has not been flashed or unlocked so its not a software fault.

I don't know if the ringer will sort out the problem. could it be one of the ic's or the ringer. Please help.

change buzzer -if there is no ringer again change uic

What is the uic is it easy to change with a normal soldering iron or is it impossible with that type of soldering iron.

it is user interface circ. located most down right on pcb

Please can someone send me the full set of nokia service manuals in acrobat reader format. Also has any one got a better picture of the uic circuit than the one I have been given. How do I change the uic. is it an easy job. with a normal soldering iron.

well.... you must include yourself in this problem too and not just waiting with posts like `is it easy`...... open your nokia and look at the pcb you will see that is not such a hightmare to change uic :)

factory settings will help you in case u dont know how to work with profiles.....:rolleyes:
