8310 won't turn on

Anybody able to help with dead 8310. Charges ok-battery full just no action from on-off switch. Could switch need replacing?

try first to short circuit your switch or make both terminal of switch make a contact if it powers on then you should replace switch if not check switcher circuit probably a faulty resistor you should also check your lines to ccont.
check also all of user interface materials for short circuits due to pcb corrossion

Thanks for yr reply-I found that the switch had broken away from the PCB-soon fixed with a little careful soldering.
