I have also noticed alot of posts about difficulty unlocking these phones.
The *#06# code works for the IEMI number, but I had no luck getting a code to work to access the nam. In my research to unlock the phone, I was led to think it was a DCT4 phone. I was able to unlock it as a DCT4/ASIC2+DCT3/GD1with V2 codes. The second code worked. I have tried the typical program menu codes and tried to sub my provider numbers and reset security code as they might be used by different providers, all to no end.
If anyone has any other codes for this model, please let me know.

The 6010 is just a modified version of the 3590
Very easy to unlock with DCT4 3510/asic2 GEN original settings
Most american phones unlock with code 1
BTW V2 codes were blacklisted last year
I still cant get into the Nam functions and I have verified that the security lock is 12345

Unlocking the phone will not unlock menus on the phone, it will just make the phone able to use sims from different providers.
Anyways, I don't understand, I didn't know that in gsm phones there was a nam menu, since the number is stored on the simcard, not in the phone.
It sounds a little confusing. Please, check if you're looking for the righ thing on the right phone ;). Maybe what you're looking for does not exists!

 nam menu is on TDMA and CDMA phones, which have the number stored IN the phone.
GSM phones use sim cards, and the phone number is stored there.
Now I understand why it sounded so weird. I was thinking "-heck, a year and a half with gsm phones and I NEVER saw a nam menu????, it'd be illogical, but who knows?"
Best of lucks. Enjoy your time here, search through the forums, FAQs, stickys (they're not always just the rules), etc. Almost all of what I know, I've learned reading this forums.
Best regards

So all phones mfg in 2005 would need to use a different value than V2 in the CruxCalc pulldown?
TIA,
Richard
