I cant get the internet working on this phone. It comes up with packet data not available or something.... I've tried settings from both o2 and nokia without success.

Does anyone know how I can get it working please?

Thanks

Hey,

You can only do this if you are on a tarif, wherby you pay monthly.

I have been trying to do this for ages, O2 told me it's not possible on pay-&-go and like yourself I sent the various settings files to my phone to no avail.

I have asked if there is a 3rd party app that will allow us to create a dialup connection that use's GSM, like we could on the older 6600 as thats all we need. I dont this with Tiscali settings on the 6600 & it worked great.
The 6630 though only allows packet data connections which is of no use to us.

I had this prob with my 6260. This was the solution.
Get the normal settings from o2 or nokia then go to
settings
connection
access points
Select the access point you wish to use then
Options
Advanced settings

Primary name server - 193.113.200.195
Second. name server - 193.113.200.195
Proxy. serv address - 193.113.200.195
Proxy port number - 8080

Hope this helps
