Babel fish translator really stinks...
The codes might not work for a lot of reasons. If you get the message of "cannot undo restriction", it means that you actually got a valid code but you cannot unlock because the five attempts that you had have been already used.
If you get the message of "wrong code", it means that one of the variables used to calculate the code ser is wrong, or you're using the wrong code of the set.
It would be helpful if you post how many times have you tried, and which variables you used (basic, the serial or GEN used).
If you already entered five wrong codes, then the only way is by cable, twister, griffin, or the one that you like.

I'm having trouble unlocking my Nokia 1100 too. I've entered four codes from the NokiaFREE program, and none of them have worked. I'm only getting an "Code error" message. I've checked and double checked the phone model (Nokia 1100 (RH-18)) and the IMEI code.
I've tried four codes but they've all given errors (I've tried the 1st, the second, the seventh and the fifth (the last digit in my IMEI number was a 5), and I'm on my last try.
Can anyone help?
Oh, and the phone is locked to Tesco and in the UK.

sure, we just need to know which settings you used to generate the codes.
Basically, we need:
-gen (or serial) used
-which of the two network codes that Virgin has (as you know, tesco network code is the same as virgin, and virgin has two).
Once we know that, we can help you.
I'd say that, what would work, would be:
-serial Original
-network code virgin special
seventh code (not a hundred percent sure... could be the first also)

Hi everyone!
I'm having trouble unlocking my 1100 because I can't seem to insert the last "#" on my unlocking code.
I've read somewhere this should be because my handset works under DCT3, I guess... How can I enter the full code??...
Can anyone help me? I'd really be gratefull!
Thanks in advance!

nope, 1100 is a DCT4 handset. Why you say you can't enter the last #? when you type it, what happens?

Well, nothing happens, really... I press the "#" key at the end but the "#" symbol will not go onto the handsets display, and I get no message at all!... :(
The code I've got has 15 characters between the first and last "#" and was generated by the nokiafree online calculator for DCT3, because that's the only one that shows the 1100 model.
I wouldn't know how to fill in the GEN and MODEL fields in the DCT4 calculator... :(
My Network is Vodafone-Portugal and the model is the 1100/RH18.
What am I doing wrong? :-?
Thanks a lot,
Kayam0n
P.S. - I've tried inserting the code without any SIM card, with my SIM and with one that is not mine... Always the same problem... :(

HURRAY everyone!!
I seem to have done it!!!
I used the DCT4 calc with:
GEN - ORIGINAL
MODEL - asic2
and I entered the 7th code. And... VOILA! Restrictions off, it sayd!
I'm not sure I did it yet, because the only SIM I have from another Network is not recognized, but I'm guessing it's because it is a bit old and might have been deactivated!
Anyway, I GOT the restrictions off message on the display, so...
THANKS a LOT to ALL you guys, and I can only hope this thread will help someone with the same problem I had! ;)
Best wishes and blessings to all,
Kayam0n
P.S. - Special thanks to you Edge! ;)
