Unlocking a 3595 ?

I used to remember how to do this, now I can't find it again.

How do I get the IME number again, and how do I enter the code ?

the imei is in the label under the battery, or you can see it by typing *#06#.

To enter the code, take out the sim, turn on the phone, the type the code. To type "pw+" press the asterisk and you will see that it will display the 'p', the 'w', and the '+'. When you reach 'p', stop, then press again asterisk until you get the 'w', etc. Then the numbers, again asterisk for the last '+' and then #.

When you enter the last #, if you typed the correct code you should see "phone restriction off". If you entered a wrong code, you will see "code error", and, if unfortunately somebody used the five tries and you type a correct code you will see "cannot undo restriction". In the last case, the only thing to do is cable flashing.
