Changing PPM on 32xx/5x/6x

Do i have to use SMD EEPROM programmer with SOIC clips if i changed the PPM pack on 32xx/5x/6x/ since they have external EEPROM?
If yes, what s/w should i use to change the FAID?

no, this data is stored in the flash anyway, not in the EEPROM - because of this flasher cables are sufficient.

for upgrading FAID a standard MBus cable is sufficient, you don't have to use such clips or to desold the EEPROM.

in other words: just do it as you would do it normally /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
