Transfer Text Messages from 6600 to 6630

Hi,

Just got the 6630 whilst on my hols and well now i'm gonna give away my 6600 to family. What i am really concerned about is how can i transfer my text messages off the 6600 to get onto the 6630. Any help much appreciated, also this is a TIM phone (i think italian) is there anyway i can remove the TIM features to replace with vodafone UK?

Hi,

The 6670 comes with a program called Data transfer. When ran, it will copy the settings from your old 6600. It will most likely work on yours as well.

1. Make sure all messages on 6600 phone memory
2. make sur no messages are on 6630 memory card
3. put 6630 memory card in 6600
4. messages-options-settings-other change memory in use to memory card it should prompt you where you want to transfer messages, say yes
5. put memory card in 6630 and there you go!!
