I have a StarTAC 7868W on Verizon Wireless that is giving up the ghost. Upon contacting Verizon, I found out that they will no longer allow me to swap on another StarTAC. Is there any software I can get to program my ESN into the replacement phone? Freeware or pay, don't care.

Hi. I don't know about changing the ESN but I too have a few 7868s in use by the family members.

Does anyone know what PST might work to update the PRL? PRL updates cannot be done over the air with this carrier. I tried Motorola PST 6.7. It reads information fine but cannot write...just says "Cannot transfer P2K data to a legacy phone". I guess one needs an older non 2PK Motorola PST or a universal PST.
