Contact service after ppm splitter 2.5

Iremoved JMP ringtone and added CIRCLES from 8210 and got contact service even all checksums are ok.........

i added 3330 ringtones to 3310 and it works normally!!
and also removed jumping from 5110 and added fool about from 3330 on it and the phone works fine!!!!!!!

normally it works!!
you must select the pathched flash file (with new ringtones or with removed ringtones) then you read MSID and IMEI with koci logger, and past it to the sell
calculate the faid with Soft and upgrade phone with logger!
i have rom 4 phone and it works fine!!!
is your MSID = 0-------0110----------0 ??
if yes try to flash with an original mcu file
if no it will work!!

8210 works ok,3310 works ok,3330 works ok,8850 works ok,6210 works ok,6250 works ok,6110 DON'T WORK!!!!!!!

If i remove one tone from flash and add another i allways get CONTACT SERVICE....if i only add ringing tone,then it works ok.......

i have a phone having contact service, what i did i flash out the old file ,replace with a full flash of 3310 4.06fls after doing so, power resume and using nokia tool i found out all the locks are closed and i dont know what to do next can help please, how can i open or reprogram the eeprom? is this the next step

Hi Garry!!

How are you? you need to flash the phone again with a good full backup(20000--400000) and then change change IMEI etc.

At the moment, the eeprom area is corrupted, hence CONTACT SERVICE.

You can alternatively flash your 3310 with a virgin eeprom dump to 3D0000--400000. Then flash it newer version of 3310......latest is I think 5.13 and then thephone WILL come on....Then calculate FAID with either NokTook By Rolis 1.5b or nk_calc By Dejan, or even EEprom Tools v3.0 by B-Phreaks.

The whole process is simple...piece of cake.. /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Enjoy!!

When you calculate checksum allway click on FIX CHECKSUM.....
then it works ok......
if u first calculate and then fix....then the prog freezes......

Tnx for the the tips, but i think you folks more advance in this forum than we are here in the phils. Me by nature can trouble shoot hardware related not all, but can fix cellphone, i think categorizing my self as level 4 technician and all the procedure you are trying to share is out of my capability to comprehend but flashing with full backup (300000-4000000) it is finished but to dump with a virgin eeprom i dont know honestly. I have the back up file of the virgin eeprom, i think i need some learning to do it, considering myself a rookie in this field, and i don't those software you mentioned for me to execute it. my code name is sniper.

can u help me! i am hpoeful ican learn fast the way folks are doing. thank You

Do this:

Flash your phone with 3310 version 4.45 or later please using Rolis 4.77 or later. I dont know why you are using 4.09...too old.

ok..after u have flashed it......use dejan flasher or darklemming flasher 2.15 or earlier to write virgin eeprom dump to phone. Make sure the virgin eeprom file is in backup folder. I hope u know how to work darklemming and dejan.

After that...the phone is flashed.......now calculate FAID using either eeprom tools by -B-phreaks or NokiaTookl 1.5b By Rolis or nk_calc by Dejan. You will need special mbus cable not the dual mbus/fbus cable. You can build it by using Abe scheme or Dejan Scheme.

But, you can use dual bus cable with eeprom tools by b-phreaks.

However....when u change IMEI...u wont be able to change ORIGINAL IMEI with dualbus cable...I cant anyway....you would have to use the mbus again....Original IMEI can be changed by using the IMEI changer by CAGE.

Try to find all the soft in earleir posts...They are all here.

I hopw I have confused you. By the way, you would have to reset EEPROM by using NokiaTOOL 035.../n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
