Hello everyone,

I have recently purchase a pack of 12 blue leds that were advertised as fit for Nokia 6360 (apparently a TDMA version of the 6310).

6310s appear to accept the same types of replacement leds as 33XX/3410s do (0805 or 1206 form factors according to www.bluled.co.uk).

What I'd like to know is whether Nokias 6360 use the same LEDs as their GSM counterparts (6310), as this would mean I could use these leds on my 3410 without problems.

If anyone knows the answer, do please post it here!

Thanks!

As far as cell phones are concerned LED's are LED's.

The only real factors of concern are operating voltage and size.. All digital Nokia Phones operate off the same voltage (3210 excepted until modified) so that is not a factor.

So basically if it fits it will work.. And since being in the states we have never seen a 3410 couldnt tell ya that but Im sure you can figure that out.

Out of curiousity which size did you buy, 0805 or 1206?

Thanks Phonedudes,

questions concerning TDMA phones aren't answered very often here...

3410s use the same LEDs as 3310 and 3390s so they should fit.

I suppose the LEDs are 1206 but they haven't arrived yet so I can't say for sure. The person who sold them told me they were OEM but didn't have clue about their size, just said they fit Nokia 6360. As far as I know 6310s come originally with 1206s, so I suppose original 6360 LEDs are the same size.

This is an educated guess based on the fact that components for TDMA Nokias such as the 3320/3360 are much the same as for GSM DCT-3 Nokias (I've taken apart a 3310 and a 3320 to check that).

Anyways, I'll just wait for the LEDs to reach me and will try to have 'em fitted and see how it goes!
