about accessing menus

hi, it is possible to access SIM MENU via NokiX? coz im creating a program that phone are connected to the Com1 and i want to access the SIM MENU
like inquiry -> Check balance but the phone is only standby mode...

Although the SIM menu exists in the firmware and needs an eeprom bit to be visible, the fact is that the info one sees when accesssing it is read from the SIM card itself.

So, unless the SIM card is in the phone there's no much use in having the menu accessible

it is possible in nokix like this... i press the 9 it will goto the messages? then if i press 8 will goto the write messages?

If you want to send an SMS using a phone connected to COM, you don't have to patch the firmware. Take a look at programs like gnokii/gammu, they allow doing this with virtually any phone.
