nokia 6020.......unable to unlock

i am trying to unlock my nokia 6020 on o2 network.i have the codes already but when i put the code the phone doesn't respond as usual.i mean to say phone restriction off or phone can not beb unlock. did anyone know what i am doing or not doing.

please read other posts or use the search feature (answered zillions of times)... :(

some recent nokias require a non-accepted SIM inside in order to accept the unlocking code...

Hi!

Nokia 6020 unlock-key must be generated by following settings:

Model number: ASIC 2
Generator Type: ASIC 6

Then take the last (7.) generated code!

a lot of greetings.
