quick question on cables

hi all ive got loads of cables and ends
for unlockin fones

loads of ps2 fitments

ive got a serial port cable were u add ur ps2 end to

now wat i want to do is flash this mados file to a 3310
can i use the serial adapter cable with a 3310 ps2 head if so which proggy do i need

i remember doing this years ago which used a parrelel port cable set to flash then a serial set to update faid or somet is this still the case

any help appreciated

To flash your mobile you have to use a "flasher cable". The one I've built is a parrallel cable, it's very common, and the schematic has been designed by Dejan.
The serial cable is a data cable (mbus or fbus). You can't flash your phone with such cables, but you need it to set the faid after you flash it.
If you have loads of ps2 fitments, just buy or build the flasher cable with a ps2 terminal
About the software I use "Rolish flasher 4.78", but there is also a software by Dejan: I prefer the first cause graphic is better.
