Hi there,

since some two weeks I work on a entirely new NokiX SDK for developers. It will include GNU GCC 4.0.2 and VisualHAM IDE. Yes, IDE, a complete development environment with integrated editor (with code highlighting, auto completion etc.) and project management.

The VisualHAM was created by Peter Schraut for the development of GBA (GameBoyAdvance) games. I found that its internals are highly configurable and can be adapted to NokiX quite easily.

Thanks to it creating a new game project will require only few mouse clicks. Thanks to the project template only the game code will have to be added, most common things will already be handled. This is called rapid development :).

I still have some work to do before I publish it so be patient, for now you can see two screen snapshots I've made:

Development of Breaker game in new environment (http://nokix.pasjagsm.pl/files/nokix_visualham1.gif)
Creating new game project out of a template (http://nokix.pasjagsm.pl/files/nokix_visualham2.gif)

See you soon
[Yak]
