i know this subject has a long thread running allready but i was just wondering what everyone else thinks of Orange branded phones? i have a couple of video demo's for those of you that have yet to see this software. if your thinking of changing networks and joining orange and your unsure you'll like the additional software, it is worth noting that it cannot be removed from the phone or switched off.

I hate the orange home page, but you should balence your poll a bit better.

Change the last option to "Puts me off getting a phone with orange (again)"

That way orange can see how many people will avoid contracts with them because of the menu (including those who won't renew contracts).

Otherwise, the poll sounds a bit too hateful and biased.

I don't have a problem with Orange's network, I'll just never buy a handset from them ever again.

the network is not bad but the homescreen is a killer had it on a d500 ruined any picture i wanted to use as ascreensaver ,flashed the phone with generic firmware what a difference !!! orange put far too much garbage on a phone thesedays they should concentrate on providing the network not changing the phone to what they think people want i will never have another orange phone ever :-x :-x :-x

I'm happy with the network & charges, but the awful homescreen is bad enough for me to be leaving Orange once my contract expires.

I returned my orange N70 for this very reason, went with O2 who supplied an N70 with the latest firmware and virtually no branding apart a theme and a screensaver.

I lost my Orange phone a few weeks ago while skiing and replaced it with a plain vanilla Nokia, at a small increase in price, due to Orange's crappy homescreen.
