3310 to 3330 or 3350 Converting

Is it Possible to Convert 3310 to 3330 or 3350??

Why is it that here in my place there's a store that connverts 3310 to 30's and 50's.

My Q's:

3310 to 3330 "is it possible"?? -- Is there any modification?/

3310 to 3350 "is it possible"?? -- How??

Hope Experts Can Answer this Q's..

hi there friend. yah! you can check ur flash memory if it can store up to 4Mb then.......... and if not u have to change the flash. In my case, I change the flash IC from a defective 3330 n write the whole flash to 8. N that was succesful, fortunaely when I checked the keypad it was d same as with 3350, then I rewrote the flash, and that's it I've got a 3350.

Yeah.... after changing the flash IC and after u flash it with a 3350 flash files, u will get everything exactly from 3350 even those incoming call blinking led fuction.

But if u dunno how to change the flash IC ........ go and get a new 3350........

3310 to 3330, no need to change LCD, but flash ic.

3310/3330 to 3350, change LCD and 3330 or 3350 flash ic depend which you want to upgrade to.

For the blink led part, it is depend of software, no hardward modification are need, i'm talking about 3350, 3330 without blink led.

it can be hard, it can be easy, depend of your soldring skill, you need a hot blow air solder and some other tools to change it.

cant you just use a soldering iron if you are careful?

it is impossible, since flash ic is a BGA type ic, all leg are not visible and under the ic. I think soldring iron can't do it.

Well yeap, your 3310 will exactly the same with 3350! eg. blinking led when incoming call after convertion.

You can't take out or change the flash iC with a soldering machine. You will need a blower to do that! But don't ever try it if you donnu how's it work. Coz it will totally damage your phone (believe me! maybe u can consult those technician on this matter)

First of all juz look at the BGA IC's code number on the 3350 and change your 3310 BGA Flash IC to the same ic as 3350. Flash it with 3350 flash and that's it

you need a new version board which have extra contact point for the extra key. Open your phone and look at the front panel of your board, see whether it's already contain that, if not, you will need to find a new board.
