you can remove those functions, but you can using g3n0lite to remove that menu entry or put it it another menu as submenu.

Hey dude,
g3n0lite is actually very easy to use
Just follow
* Open flash using button with three dots "..."
* Once you click open this will happen in the main text area...
# Opening the Flashimage for PPM read
# Found PPM: V 05.57 05-07-02 NHM-5 (c) NMP.
# Checking g3n0lite.ini for Rootoffset
# Found TEXT chunk @ offset: 0x1427E0
# Loading the PPM File this may take a while ....
# Loading of PPM was successful. :)
# Closing the Flashimage
Ok this is just a 3310 5.55 but your flash will show different things
* Next Hit the GO button - top right of the window
* It will fill the text area with hex numbers and lines upon lines of stuff
Something like this is what you want to look for...
[0x0031350F] [0x00000002] (0x0175) (0x0BBA) (0x0000) (0x0006) (0x0000) (0x0024) Divert if not answered

* Ok now you see the Games bit? Looks like:
[0x003135CC] [0x00000071] (0x008F) (0x05E0) (0x0000) (0x003E) (0x0000) (0x001A) Games
What ya need to do is simply delete this menu then move everything up a line by backspacing - simple as that, the same goes for any other menus you wish to be deletd mate :)
* Finally all you need to do is highlight the radio button TXT-FLS and hit GO button again this will then display the following after several seconds...
# Calculating needed space for the new Menu
# Removing old menus and searching for 3592 bytes of required space in MCU
# Getting structure from textbox and generating new menu
# Trying to calculate MCU Checksum
# MCU Checksum found: A37B. Writing Checksum to File.
# Calculated Fchk Value: 2C8BC68A
# Calculated Flash Check Value: 3B41A603. Writing Flash Check to FLS.
# Done. FLS successfully editied.
Or similar! :) When the last line is # Done. FLS successfully editied. You can sit back and relax cos your flash is ready and edited mate!
So there ya go!
Hope this helps
Mike
P.s. - The offsets (the start of where the menus are located in each fones flash) are kept in a .ini file along with the main exe file, if your flash doesnt have an offset available then either change down to a version of software we know the offset for or just experiment ;)

Yes Joox simply converted it from C to VB (win32) so it runs on Windoze platforms, its easy when u know how, hope my mini tutorial above helps :D :D

Why dont you just change the names of the menus?

Hello Slikmik,
trust me i just love that nick name or the name Slikmik, but the main reason for the reply is to thank you for taking sometime and replying to my queries. I'am sure that will work and i will remove Games and Calculator options from my phone coz games eat battery and calculator is somewhat i dont use it.
Now, another question, after removing these 2 menus (Games & Calculator) I'am sure there will some free space in MCU of the file. Now, can i add some new features in those space or increase more ringtones OR IF or BY any chance can i store more SMS on my 3310 upgraded to 3315 ? I'am sure many people said thats its not possible to get phone memory in 3310, but i feel that someone has made phone memory in 3310 but he do not want to tell to this forum how he has done it. Anyway my fingers are crossed and still hopeful to get phone memory on my phone.
But bottom line is thanking Slimkik for your help :)
Ahoi,
first of all: @slikmik: Nice tutorial but you forgot to edit the menu nr. count in the first line of the menu..... those will cause errors. ;)
[0x002EF490] (0x0B) (0x10) (0x0101) [0x00112262]
bold written is the menu nr. count. just decreease with the factor of 2. (remember this is a hex number ;) )
@mobilerocks: No, you will not gain more space in MCU. Only the menu was removed but the functions are still in the flashfile. it is the same as when you delete a link in your startmenu of windows. the program will still remain on your dardrive but it is gone in the startmenu.
@all: g3n0lite 0.91f don't work with ini File anymore. it has a new function for autofinding the RootOffset. And 6210/6250/7110 are not supported because the MCU and PPM are encrypted.
btw: SMS are stored not in MCU and not in the PPM, I think in 3310 they are stored on SIM. Ringtones are not stored in MCU they are stored in PPM. ;)

Hey Joox,
thats was really a fair enough information for everyone. I really feel that you are the right person to ask this Question, Is it really possible to have phone memory in my phone to store more phone numbers, reminders and SMS by harware or software solutions ?
possible is everything, but how you could solve problems like that is another question. ;)
definite possible are those tricks :D, but it is far far far away from extending your phone memory:
