ringtones low on nokia 6230i

hi could anyone please help i just recently bought a brand new nokia 6230i on o2 which i think is great but the thing that is bugging me is when i listen to my ringtones they are loud straight away but when someone rings it starts of quite then after about 5 seconds goes loud i have it on ringing not ascending and on level 5 is this normal or is my phone faulty as i never had this problem with the 6230 was loud staight away when somebody phoned could anybody please help many thanks

Please dont post duplicate questions, this is very upsetting... also, i think the old SE T610s did the same thing as default... that was annoying to but that was the way they were... i have never used a 6230i yet so I dont know if thats normal behaviour but if your ringtones are being played loud enough any other times i wouldnt think there is a hardware fault if any fault at all!!

Got the same fone, it's a bug in the firmware, hopefully when a newer firmware is released it will be sorted :mad:
