plz Help me to unlock 7270!

I have this 7270 nokia... and i hope to unlock it ;)

I don't even know what operator locked it down... and i don't have software or nothing... i'm so noob, but i hope someone could help me with this!

Well, I was having problem unlocking my Nokia 3220b, locked to Rogers, Canada. reading this forum, it then took 3 seconds and it was done. Just want to thanks ya'll for the infos. I want to help the other guys out there having trouble. Four easy steps, all you need to know:

1. Power on the phone with ORIGINAL sim card (the one the network is locked 2)

2. Get your IMEI: type *#06# (15 digit number, also written on the phone under the battery)

3. Then use the http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ to generate the code, choose GEN: asic 6 as stated in this topic.

4. Use one of the generated code, I used the 7th: #pw+**********+7#
Yes, you need to type the whole thing including #pw+****#
To get the p, + and the w you need to press the * several time.

That said, good luck unlocking. :eek:
