Ive totally screwed my 3310 :( - pls help!

Hi guys

When I connected my phone to eprom tools 2 unlock it said bad signiture.. so I this this..

I thought about upgrading the soft on my 3310 so I went into Rolis and started to flash the 3310 upgrade ppm/mcu file.. then I noticed that I forgot to pick the 3310 option from the pull down menu

So i quickly disconnected the phone and began the process again and flashed the upgarde file

I then updated FAID with Eprom tools after that but no signal

I thought if I try to upgrade the phone to 3315 it might work.. so i flashed the 3315 file - tried using knok but it wouldnt work with my mbus cable..

I then got a virgin eprom for a 3310 and flashed that.. I then reflashed the 3310 v5.57 upgrade file - updated faid again and then unlocked using erom tools..

NOw my phone turns on - no network and switches off after 10 secs! :( :( :(

Pls help - what do i do now?

What you need is

First, try to use nokiatool to change imei, update faid, then sp unlock, if this still didn't work, you need to use NFREE to check your flash file, see whether mcu checksum are correct or not, if it correct, then check with ppmmanager see whether is the ppm checksum part not correct.

Is there not a flash file (s) which I could simply flash to my phone and then update faid reset sp locks - and voila - phone working??

sometime, yes, but if the flash file having checksum problem, then you'll need to correct it before flash to your phone, if not your phone will not be able to receive network signal and reset every few second later.

ok, i think maybe is ppm checksum have problem for your case, try load up ppmanager and open your flash file, click update ppm checksum at the drop down menu, and save it.

flash it to your phone, and change imei, update faid then sp unlock. will waiting here for your result.

I got contact service

I then dumped a virgin emprom on the phone again and reflashed the upgrade file

now says - sim card not accepted

If I do a update faid and reset sp lock - it will start to reboot on and off again

the phone in its present state reads" sim card not accepted" but doesnt reboot

This has been wrkecking my brains since 7am (now its 11am)

Why give up, when you see "sim card not accepted", that's means you already success, only a step to go, try this.

open nokiatools by rolis.
connect your phone to your computer comport with a mbus cable.
before connect your phone with mbus, remember to write down your phone imei, which behind back cover of your phone.

ok, now.

turn on your phone.
click read phone.
fill in the imei number in the imei box you just copy down.
click change imei.
click update faid.
then click sp unlock.
disconnect your phone, and turn in on, sometime it will restart one time. after that should be no problem.

you're done. hurray...

Hello what say NokiaPhreak is really true but I have one questions for him on a 3210 I cannot clear sp locks then I erase full flash ,upload a new eeprom file into 24c128 and write a new flash.After that change imei ,update faid and sp unlock phone was ok , find network make calls ...etc few tim power on-off to chek them, but works fine.On the next morning phone say insert correct sim card I read it again I do the same thing and works but after few hour says again insert correct sim card.what can I do?

Insert correct SIM card or Insert SIM card? Probably the SIM contacts needs cleaning or the SIM lock is loose. The very basic.
