High Seize works perfectly fine on N70 but when i copied it on my mmc other aplications stoped to work, i couldnt go to gallery, messages... I think the problem is when game has many files in libs directoty...

ΝΟΤΕ for everyone here who might have problems with his phone when installing NGAGE games....

The following N-Gage Libs have been found to be the cause of system instability on Series60 phones:


System/Libs:
* ECom.dll
* EComServer.exe
* Http.dll
* Httptcphnd.dll
* INetProtUtil.dll
* securesocket.dll
* SSL70.DLL
* ssladaptor.dll
* Stringpool.dll


Problems include:
* Problems recording video
* application crashes on exiting some games/apps (including non N-Gage games!)
* Random phone reboots in some games/apps (including non N-Gage games!)


Deleting these files from your System/Libs folder and then performing a reboot of your handset should improve system stability and still allow you to play N-Gage games. If an N-Gage game requires one or more of these files simply copy the required file(s) to the GAMES own folder (not the Libs folder!).

ESPECIALLY for the ECom.dll file, please (even if you dont like following the above), DELETE IT from the libs folder. This one is the reason that N70 may stuck without turning on etc. THERE IS NO REASON FOR FORMAT just delete this file (if not all the above) from the system\libs folder.....

well tested some more games asphalt 2 demo go to the intro with fucked colors and mile high pinball demo work but non of the newest binpda releases work becouse of the damn intro they have started with so therfor do not mile high pinball retail version work that are from binpda and not asphalt 2 retail from binpda! someone tested other than them maybe it could work then:)

i have found the lib but it seems to bypass the binpda intro this time:D but i cant get the games to work on my n70:/ the color are messed up and some games just have sound and nothing more

So,here's the GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD news:

Open the package (OS8 Ngage Game Fix) attached in this post
Install colorfix.sis by sobol
Copy NokiaFC.dll to E:/system/libs
Install ONE and GLIMMERATI (binPDA release)
Open Fexplorer
Launch the game by opening it's .app file
THAT'S IT!
IT WORX!
You don't even need to use colorfix before..they simply work!!!
That's amazing!
Playing One and Glimmerati down to self destruction right now..they're absolutely briliant!
Now testing other releases!

Note that both games may sometimes (rarely indeed in my case,but this may vary from phone to phone depending on wot it's installed on it) need bluetooth turned on to start,but for the rest,ZERO problems!

I'll continue till he knocks me down and get it back..(this however will happen within minutes...)
He's in anger..maybe because i gave him a 3230 as a replacement during my testing purposes period! :D

Mile High - still can't run
Ghost Recon - still with fu***d colours (WTF!I love this game!)
Roots Gates Of Chaos - won't start
System Rush - gives 'system error' pop up immediately after launching it
SC Chaos Theory - doesn't boot

i got my n70 recently and i'm trying to install some N-gage games...

i have copied all necessary files into c:/systems/app, i have taken out all the *.dll files that is not needed (as mentioned in above replies), have tried Tomb Raider, Sonic, Splinter Cel Team Stealth Action and Rayman, all the files apprear in "My Own" but they just wont load... any help..??

Download OS8 Ngage Game Fix
Install colorfix.sis
Copy NokiaFC.dll to E:/system/libs
Install (using cardreader) ASPHALT2 (MUST be BinPDA release!)
Replace files in game directory with the one attached in this post
Oper Fexplorer
launch the game by opening it's .app file in his directory
Play anytime anywhere!

100% working,no bad colors,full speed,zero problems!

Good news for N70 community!

digital legend one (fexplore)
high seize (bt on)
mile high pinball (bt on)(delete the lib vibractrl in the lib folder from the game)
Glimmerati (after start of the game the color are not perfect so then hold the menu button in and just click the glimmerati icon so should the colors be perfect)


all this games work with NokiaFC.dll n-gage os8 fix and Sobol ColorFix ps start the game from fexplore

I read too that The Roots MIGHT work on N70 but still i don't figured how.I'm still trying every possible combination,even in the Libs directory (maybe there's something wrong here).
System Rush ALWAYS gives system error,no matter what.

Sorry for posting to much guys,

finally i igured out all my problems for instling games,

anyhow i had an error on browsing the net and sending mms telling me that web:unble to perform operation and not sending mms at all,

since i had all my games installed to the mms, i tryed removing it and every thing was normal ,

the game i had installed was xando so any 1 had a similar error ? and if so whats should i do in order to avoid this kind of errors ??

I managed to get the fix from another website... got all the games working... apart from the ones i really want ( SUPER MONKEY BALL ) and ( SYSTEM RUSH ) if these ever get fixed i'll be doing backflips around my room !!! thanks for trying to send those files... I gonna wait in anticipation now !!

This time it's a very BIIIIIGGGGG good news for N70 owners...
Symply download attached libs,copy them into E:/system/libs
and install following games....

SYSTEM RUSH / SSX OUT OF BOUNDS / CRASH NITRO KART / FIFA 2005_2006 / WWE AFTERSHOCK

They'll run without any problems,without colorfix!!!

Hmmm...today is a great day in the N70 universe....

SPLINTER CELL CHAOS THEORY N70 FIX

BEFORE TRANSFERING FILES IN MEMORY CARD:

-open SCCT archive and extract
-delete Browser folder
-copy following libs in 6R73 folder:gamecomms.dll, gameutils.dll,
httpdllrequest.dll, nokiafc.dll, stringpool.dll
-delete libs folder

NOW WE'RE READY...

-copy 6R73 folder in E:/system/apps
-turn bluetooth on
-open SCCT
-immediately press 'menu' button
-open colorfix
-return to game

That's it!

system rush is the one i am really trying to get working.
okey here is a tip for you if you have a clean rs-mmc card try too install the libs fix on the clean rs-mmc card and then install system rush and crash nitro kart on it then i think they will work the problem do i guess is you libs folder on the other rs-mmc card:) how old is that card btw and what type?

It says in the Aris' list that Glimmerati "was said to cause problem on N70 bluetooth". Does anyone know what thoes problems are and is there a way to fix them?

Don't run glimmerati in N70, you will have problem finding bluetooth devices after and the only way to un-do it is to format your phone memory!

Hi guys, I´m new here :), I have a 6681 for 3 days now, and before a had a 6600, I guess all this posts about N70 "n-gage compatibility" tips, are not the same for 6681 woners like me right?, so can someone point me to directions where I can get 6680/81/82 tips about n-gage games, I already instalaed without any fix the Rayman-3 "blz" and NBAslam "ziped" and this tow is working 100%, but I like to get other good titles in my 6681 like Asphalt1 and 2 too, Asphalt v1.5.3 "sis" installs but start with color problems and double mini screens, Asphalt2 "binPDA" dont work at all, "clicking" the Asphalt2 icon means nothing to my 6681 :(, a litle help here? :).

Back again like a storm...
This time it's a very BIIIIIGGGGG good news for N70 owners...
Symply download attached libs,copy them into E:/system/libs
and install following games....

SYSTEM RUSH / SSX OUT OF BOUNDS / CRASH NITRO KART / FIFA 2005_2006 / WWE AFTERSHOCK

They'll run without any problems,without colorfix!!!

on the phone show hidden files then copy the files to the main dir on your phone then on the phone cut then paste in the hidden systems folder. AFAIK the hidden systems dir will not show on pc suite. I use profiexplorer included with profimail rather than file explorer as it doesn't wait to load large folders. Hope this helps

I cant get Asphalt2 to work properly!

i did everything following instructions. when i run the game from fexplorer with bt on it justs throws me back to fexplorer after ngage logo if i turn bt off it shows more logos and after gameloft the phone crashes. if i run the game thru myown programs it runs smoothly but with messed up colours? anyone have any ideas? thanks for help!

The Sims Bustin Out (Working 100%):

Download OS8 Ngage Game Fix
Install colorfix.sis
Install (using cardreader) The Sims Bustin Out
Delete VIBRACTRL.DLL from libs folder if it is there
Start the Game
Wait until the Boot screen is finished
Press Menu Key
Start Colorfix
Hold Menu Key and go back to Game

Thats it! Have Phun! :D

If you have installed the NokiaFC.dll in the libs Folder you must move this .dll from the lib Folder and if you need this lib you must move it back to the libs Folder. Sims dont work with the NokiaFC.dll!

all the available versions will mess up UR bluetooth!
So, don't try it out man!

First time posting. I have been reading through the thread but I cant get my n70 to work on the ngage games, I have done the procedures,
When starting apps it says I can't install due to "security reasons" pls help.
another one question is do i have to copy the ngage files by taking the memory card out of the phone to a card reader? Just want to make sure i am understanding it .. tnkss everyone, this forum is great!!

system rush starts but with two little purple screens (almost like two versions of the game running simultaniously) on the top two quarters of the phone lcd.

system rush is the one i am really trying to get working.

I know a Solution to that, BUY AN N-GAGE!!!!

Just Joking!:razz: ....just get colorfix by Sobol at http://ziru.acidblog.net/storages/2006/03/20/whats-n-gage-games-for-n70/, run System Rush, turn colorfix on, run the app again then wait at the lower left corner till it says Fixing Color then hold menu button for multitasking then select System Rush again then it plays on with 100% colors and playstyle.

If you exit the game though, you'll see a blank screen with your used theme, just Multitask and select Telephone. :-D
