FIRST HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL .can sume one help me i have tryed to unlock my bro nok 6100 i have tryed the free calculator it give me 7 codes tryed 3off them but no joy .dont know if it is dct3/ordct4/ or is it somethink todo with settings.IE gen?. any help would be greatfull thanks gasgas1 :

Have you considered making a search in the forum?

If after searching you still haven't found the way to unlock the phone then post here the firmware values of the phone since that model's early versions accept all settings but latest versions do not

m8 i have used the srarch but i dont reley understand as i am new to this. That is the reason i joned.as i all ready tryed 3 of the codes but did not work.i have to start someware THANKS

m8 i am very sorry four being such a plum i have search for how to get firmware values from my phone but i can not find any post telling me how to get this from the phone.i had no idea it wos this much aggro.if it was a cc box or rom card i would have no prob.LOL.any help would be greatfull thanks gasgas1

The firmware can be found by typing *#0000#

What network is the phone locked to? contract or prepay?

What settings have you used to try to unlock the phone ie GENserial/asic settings ? which code did you input ie code +1 +5 or +7?

BTW 6100 is DCT4 asic2

By ascertaining these values, with a bit of help you can unlock the phone at the next attempt!
m8 thanks for your help. the phone is on contract to T.MOB.the gen settings was left as new griffin.as i do not know how you can tell wot it shoud be. the code i put in first was +7 then +5 and then +1 but no joy.the phones firmware is(VO4.70 / 23-4-03- NPL-2 (C)NMP THANKS GASGAS1

Use GEN settings 32802(expert mode) try +1 code once and post results

BTW when trying to unlock nokia phones its pointless trying 3 codes from the same list when you get code error, only try when you get not allowed, which is very rare
m8 i am using code calculator 5.4 the settings is .v1 codes(32820) it will not let me change will this be all right or shuld i try a difrent calc prog?thanks gasgas

Yes, you can use V1 as the serial for the code since for that firmware version that serial wasn't blacklisted :D

thanks to every one who help me i put setting on to v1 and used +1 and it sead restic off .i haved just put orange sim in all working thanks agen every one
