Greetings , im having trouble with my unlock of my Nokia 6060 phone from Optus Cable and Wireless Australia.

I entered the 1st code and it worked.

I turned my phone on after putting my sim card in it, and all was working successfully.

Then I then turned my phone off/on and it asked me to "Enter Restriction Code"

I put in 5th, 6th and 7th code and the phone says "Phone is not restricted", but after saying that it says "Enter Restriction Code"

I put in 2nd, 3rd and 4th code and the phone says "not allowed".

I tried entering my security code, and it says "Code Error".

Does anyone have any helpful hints as to what i do now.

Thanks in Advance.

it sounds like your security code isn't right.

try the default 12345

what MCC/MNC and BOX SERIAL did you use to unlock that for Optus Australia

he used 32768

and the security code he mentions was the MASTERCODE generated online

I too have the same problem that v0rtex describes. Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

As Mr. mestrini said, the problem is related to the security code. You can generate a mastercode at http://nfader.z-host.ru/

Thanks for your response Edge.
I tried with the security code I know and also the master security code generated at http://nfader.z-host.ru/ without success. The phone responds with "code error". The security code was entered at the prompt asking "Enter restriction code:". Does the master security code need to be wrapped with special characters similar to the network unlock code. i.e. #pw+ ...

I tried the network unlock code again with the phone responding with "Phone was not restricted". I'm a little frustrated.

If the Phone state Enter Restriction Code, and the phone is fully unlocked then its an issue with the sim card, I say this as I have had similiar issues when I tried to use a Tracfone SIM in a non tracfone handset, The screen just dispalys "Enter Restriction Code"

Have you tried another SIM from another network in australia?, if so what happens?

If you cannot unlock it by yourself, you can try here www.full-mobile.com (http://www.full-mobile.com). They unlocked my nokia for free, though I think they currently ask 6 euros. good luck
