HELP WITH 8910i !!!

Hi all

I got hold of a Nokia 8910i yesterday - it came with the standard tones and one in the Gallery/Tones which is Mission impossible.rng. This plays fine but any .mid files I transfer to the phone ( via MobiMb and stable infa red connection) wont play on the phone - I get the message 'Operation Failed'

I have searched everywhere on the net and cant get hold of any other .rng files to try instead of .mid but there are none...

I have transferred 30 plus .mid files to the phone and get the same error message (these are .mid files for the 8910i or the 3530 which I believe should also work)

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am just about ready to give up

Also - I cant get the 'Application installer' in the latest Pc Suite to work - I get an 'Operation failed' and no phone supported. The 'Transfer Music' option has the same problem

So basicall I cant get any tunes or games on this phone - I can transfer images etc fine with no problems

try performing a software upgrade as it might just be a software fault, if its still under warranty then take it to a nokia service centre and have it done for nothing!! otherwise take it to a repair shop and they will do it for £10 - £15 but this might not fix it!!

Thanks for the feedback. I bought this phone second hand so have no contract - is a software upgrade something I can do?
