N70 brightness

my N70 brightness goes up automatically and goes dim(to whch I have set up) wat to do to make it standard?

same thing keeps happening to mine...believe a flash upgrade should fix the problem but :)

put some black tape over the light sensor at the top of the phone. the phone will think it is always night, and:

a) light up the keypad
b) dim the screen a little



i eventually worked out why my phone changed brightness - it uses a sensor to work out whether it is day or night. in day mode, the screen is very bright and the keys are not lit up at all
in night mode, the screen is dimmer and thekeys are lit

additionally, your phone will dim the screen after X seconds (set in settings/phone/display) to conserve power.
