M55 Unlock

Hi, I am trying to unlock a phone with the phone connected to my laptop via serial cable. No matter which unlocking SW I use, the phone is not detected when turned on. I have made sure that the serial port is not used and is not setup for another device. What the heck am I doing wrong?

Are U using a chinese cable..if not..U will not be able to unlock Ur phone...more...depends of the phone version...are U using freia software...if not search around...we have it here...and than tell me the report from freia...

when the software asks you to turn phone on. you wanna barely push the on button on the phone it shoudnt turn the phone.thats the problem i had unlocking siemens phones..hope that helps
