hey all,

1.i have a nokia 6210, does anyone know what the difference is between software v5.06 and v5.56? is it worth upgrading to?

2.How can i download ringtones from the phone to my computer?

help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Santo,
I don't know the difference but if you read your flash with rolis 4.78 b6, you can then export ringtone section with progs such as ppm edit or ppm manager, and pretty much do what you want with it then!!! Regards

thanks for the help... i thought i'd risk it.

I wrote a new mcu and ppm, and left the eeprom on the phone... all was well and i didnt have to recalc faid(wich i did anyway) and i didnt have to re-write imei, all my settings were still stored so it all went well... the only thing i can notice in the new version is more responsive menus.

i appreciate the help :D
