Hi !

I have a 6630 which is properly unlocked, and I need to upgrade my old 2.39.15 firmware.

The phone is still under warranty, BUT Nokia Canada doesn't want/cannot flash it since the 6630 is not sold in Northern America :-x (wonder why they call themselves an international company...)

How can I flash it myself ? Is there any way I can do it with DKU-2 cable as I can't afford to buy a box just to flash one stupid phone ? In any case where can I find a recent Nokia firmware ?

Thanks for your help as it's really driving me mad !!!

Actually I think I can flash it with Phoenix and a DKU-2 cable. I have both and I have the last firmware too. Now all I need is to find someone with the stupid PKD-1 Dongle :-(

thats what Sergo meant, you need a hardware solution, like JAF Mt-box GTI UFS or PBB which is a Nokia FLS4S dongle... or a PKD1 which is the hardware you need that Sergo was referring to!!
