So, I tried (just for fun) several times to flash the complete software (MCU + PPM + EEPROM) of a Nokia 3310 into another 3310, but I always get SIM refused!
I tried to update FAID and to reset to full factory settings, but this didn't solve the problem!
Can anyone explain me why?

what dou you mean with "SIM refused"??
I think the only problem you can have is to update the FAID. Try NokTool. If you get a "FAID updated succesfully" and your phone reboot it should work.

Yes, when I turn on the phone, it says me "SIM card not accepted"!
I updated the FAID with Knok, but it didn't solve the problem!
Usually, this should happen if the phone is for example operator locked, noktool actually says there are locks, but when I try to open them, nothing happens!
So, I don't know what it depends by!

try to repair IMEI since the eeprom use IMEI and DSP(??) to generate some values and since you changed hardware

So, I tried again to flash the full flash (MCU + PPM + EEPROM) of a 3310 on another 3310 and it always give me "SIM refused"!
I tried to flash only the EEPROM of a 3310 on another 3310 and the phone even refused to turn on!!! I can't understand why!
Luckly I flashed its original software and worked fine!

I insist on my previous answer
have you used neb's Repair Partner (DCT3RPv3.5.exe)? It has a very usefull option to repair IMEI that call's (via Mbus) a function inside firmware that restores IMEI and reads phone DSP values and corrects eeprom values
give it a shot ok?

I have experienced that many times just simply flash your phone with VIRGIN FUBU with the right version.
Afterf flashing Copy your original IMEI (located at the back of your phone) then punch it in to change IMEI using Knok.
here check this.

Thanks, I'll try both solutions!
SmaRkieS, with virgin FUBU you mean virgin EEPROM, right?
I downloaded one, but I don't know what version it is! How can I know it?
Actually, I didn't think about the version of EEPROM, like for MCU and PPM!

No. FUBU means Full Backup (MCU+PPM+EEP) ;)

Virgin FUBU? It's the first time I hear this!
What's virgin in it? I mean, what's the difference respect to a normal flash?
However, what I tried is just to flash the full flash of a 3310 on another 3310.

By the way, EEPROMs have a version?
If yes, what program can tell me what it is?
