Hi,

I remember from a while back in the mados days, there was some code in mados that allowed the processor clock to be set. I had a look at this source my self and found the address for this io port is 0x0002000D. If you set the first nibble of the port usually 0x9X or 0x8x to 0 you will notice a significant difference in the phone's response time to keys and just over all speed. If you set the first nibble to 0xFX you will notice the phone will be run seriously faster. If you leave the port set at 0xFX the phone will correct the setting upon returning to the standby screen or once the os is in idle mode. I have had the phone do some strange things from playing with this and I do not understand the full implications of this io port. I just found this interesting and thought I might share this (maybe some one could share some info on the actual bits that affect the processor's clock?)

This was tested on 33xx 52xx. Use memory editor to edit the io port :D

Regards.
