Unlock Nokia 6101 on T-Mobile UK

Hi, i just bought a locked Nokia 6101, and i am still having trouble unlocking the phone using what others have said on the forum.

I used code 7 and i get the message cannot undo phone restriction, i am on my fourth attempt. There was no sim card in the phone when i entered the codes, but i tried with an 02 sim once.

"cannot undo restriction" means all attempts were used. maybe someone gave u the phone with them all wasted or you counted wrong

i bought the phone new from phones4u, so i presume i counted wrong. im gonna make up some fault and take it back tommorow and get another phone to try on, if that doesnt work ill see if anyone can unlock it at the market.

but before wasting attempts, take some time to read FAQ's and other threads in this forum to get you better prepared ;-)

Its not unknown for a phone to come out of a factory, with these issues

Personally I would try a different branch/shop as phones are sometimes like eggs, if one is rotten they all are!

I had a bad experience with Virgin Mobile UK and V3s they sent me three individual phones and they all had faults on them, ie unable to remote unlock them!

PS You dont have this Phone Restriction On issue with Tmobile UK?
