Any one have any software to unlock this phone? Tried All Ericsson V1.0 and may others, no luck , keeps timing out...

tried shorting pin 5 and 6 (test mode) no luck tried without shorting pin 5 and 6, no luck ....

i've got this problem too. but i do this tricks ( mostly it will work ) when pressing the write or read button don't press the power switch leave it time out... then the second times you pressed the write or read button press the switch quickly after see power on the phone... ( i mostly get succesful after 2-3 times trying)


or if you still got problem use atr 5.3 or varanius software instead

Thanks for the reply... do you have a link where I can get a working copy of tr 5.3 or varanius software instead....

Tried dnloading a version of 5.3 but it would always crash on me.

yes atr5.3 is the one to use unlocked a view of them with that

Does the phone have to be in test mode?

pin 5&6 connected?

1.remove battery
2.connect ericsson data cable
3.connect battery
4.start program then it will ask u to press on button do it shortly
5. phone should not come on but will go in test mode instead and unlock. finished.
if not work, try again and a again until ok.

but maybe u killed your t18z already, I killed my 1st t18z by using wrong software like u, u must use atr53. my next two t18z were unlocked ok by only using atr53.
