LG U8120, is it able to be unlocked?

My uncle got a contract phone but got an upgrade, and he gave me his old one (LG U8120).
I hurd you are unable to buy the sims for it only with the phone and plus i want to use 02 on it.
On ebay they sell the cables and the software but im not sure if its worth buying and if it is acutally possable

this phone is easily unlocked,first u need to know software version of phone,take sim out and digit 277634hash star hash.
depending on your version you may need to downgrade if you av probs with this,go here:

go to downloads, lg, down LG Tool by www.GSM-ASIA.com
and if you want vygis, these are passworded so the password is:
i-ztnawhcs
unzip install fully charge phone connect phone do job
if you have probs repost good luck

I have tryed i-ztnawhcs as the password as stated but it is not accepting it. have you got any sugestions.
