i got 2 phones at hand. both are supposedly 3330's. The first one, I thought at first was a 3310, so i flashed it as a 3310, it works but signal comes in & dissapears after a while & the phone resets itself every now & then. havent figured this out yet. The other phone is contact service. It won't switch on if I flash it with a 3310 flash file. my 3330 flash files seem corrected. does anybody have a good 3330 flash file?

every after flashing your phone, you need to using NokiaTools by Rolis v1.8 (http://nokiafree.org/forums/download.php?file=Nokiatool18.zip&phone=Nokia/) to update FAID, connect your phone with a mbus cable to your PC com-port, run nokiatools, click read phone and click update faid.
you can download 3330 mcu/ppm/eeprom by click here (http://nokiafree.org/forums/software.php?u=&pathext=Nokia/ppm-mcu-files/3330-450/) ,download virgin eeprom from here (http://nokiafree.org/forums/software.php?u=&pathext=Nokia/eeprom/) .
Actually on your screen upper right hand side, there is already a download links to the NFREE download page.

is it possible that "contact service" is a harware problem? or is it all software? I noted that some friends change the eeprom of the 5110 or 3210 then flash it and then it turns out ok. is this necessary? i don't see why the eeprom could be damaged.
I also noticed that there are "contact service" in light letters, dark letters and reverse, the entire screen black with white letterings. what does this mean? is there a difference?

if software can repair the contact service, then it will be hardware problem, mostly the eeprom(ram) of the phone. maybe eeprom damage or parts around it loose contact etc.
Use wintesla to figure easily the problem.

This copy of Wintesla seems weird... Are you able to have it working? Installed it 3 times with the instructions, and when I run it and choose a phone it crashes when loading module...

I'm using this wintesla version from ed2k site's and it's working fine with me. Just follow the setup instructions. When using it when it ask for the dongle just click cancel and when asking for the username just click okay. You will not see all the phone type just click okay.

Phone is not yet connected to the PC at that time.
When using wintesla, before you open the program connect the phone to the cable (mbus) and turn it on.:) :) :)
