Finding shop to Manually unlock

What kind of stores should I check for finding a place to manually unlock my phone? I've gone through all the cell phone stores. If you can give me an idea or if you know one, I live in denver.

Pick your local yellow pages and look for a phone repair shop. The equipment needed to unlock the phone is the same as what's needed to repair it, so any repair shop should be able to unlock it.

What model is it? I know that unlock shops are few and far between in the Seattle area (Reputable ones at least) If you don't mind paying for shipping, I'd be willing to do it for you. 1st class USPS shipping is cheap if you send just the phone without accessories.

Is the phone just hard locked?
