Help please!!!!!!!

i've recently been given a nokia 6230 but try as hard as i might i cant get the phone to unlock!!! i've tried the normal unlocking codes and various code generators but when i enter the codes nothing happens, it doesnt even come up with a code error or code acceptance.

please some1 help me :(

Try entering the code with an unallowed sim card already in the phone.

thanks for replying m8 but i tried tht aswell,i cant get anything out of it at all no matter what i try. i did phone vodafone aswell but they wanted to charge £20 to write off to nokia and get the code an they siad it can take upto 3 weeks aswell.

The problem is not related to the code.. something else is happening since the phone isn't recognizing the code...

When you turn on the phone with a not accepted SIM, you should see the Undo button on one of the lower corners of the screen. Pressing it should take you to the type instance...

finally... are you sure that you are typing the complete code?

yeh, i've tried the codes off the generator on this site and still nothing! thanks very much for your help though it's much appreciated.

well, if i type it in when it says undo it does come up an say code error but i've tried 1 and 7 and neither of them work so i dont want to risk tryin another 1 incase it completely locks the phone and then i've got to get it flashed lol

It's simple. If you don't write the hole unlockcode, it will not return any errors to you. And if the phone isn't locked it will return a "phone not locked". therefore please try to insert a simcard that the phone isn't locked to.

So the phone IS recognizing the codes... those are good news.
Now, tell us your firmware date (press *#0000#), and tell which variables have you tried, most important network code and GEN used.

im too getting this problem, tried entering the code without no simcard in and when put#pw+15digitcode+7# nothin happens, no invalid code just stays up on the screen
