6020 problem

I have a 6020 which came as a virgin mobile australia package. it is currently unlocked with no problems with my virgin sim. my problem is i cannot remember my security code and i want to change my sim card to vodafone, when i put my vodafone sim in it asks for the security code which i cant remember!! What i need to know is do i use the same procedure for when the phone is actually locked or is there another way to bypass this code?

Try this, it generates a mastercode, enter it in place of the security code, to calaculate the matercode, you need the IMEI number
