Hello All,

I have the unlock codes calculator ver 3.10 and I am trying to unlock a model 1110 Nokia handset. My operator is TIM Sao Paulo, Brazil. The calculator offers three options for TIM in Brazil. They are Tim, Tim NEW 1 and Tim NEW 2. My question is: Which of these MCC/MNC codes applies for Tim Sao Paulo ?

Thanks in advance....Sabio

According to TIM site, it could be 72402, 72403 or 72404.

Now... the network code is the most weak part. You have 5 tries, and the setting of your phone are, 95% for sure:

Asic Type 2
GEN ONE (32836)
Code #7

Now, assuming you have five tries, I'd try with 72402 network code. Probably they are related to dates and differences in states, and I'd bet the first deployed network was the one in Sao Paulo.

Post results please!

Best regards

Hello EdgeCrusher....well I tried the 72402 on NokCalculator both code #7 and code #1 to no avail. I wonder if the NokCalculator supports the Nokia model 1110 phone? Also, where do you input Asic Type/ GEN ONE etc...? These came up automatically after I inputed the IMEI number and the MCC/MNC network code. I now have only 3 tries left.

Thanks for the quick response.

Download the NokiaFREE standalone calc, from the Unlock codes section. Install it, set it to expert mode, and enter the settings I told you.

Follow the settings I gave you and calculate again a set of codes. Try the seventh code from the set, calculated with Asic Type 2, GEN ONE (32836), the first network code. Post results. Remember... ONLY TRY THE SEVENTH CODE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS ATTEMPTS.

Post results please.

Hello Edge, when I input the options you mention on calculator the 7th code appears as: #pw+389 316 016 765 015+7#

However this occurs with ASIC2/ V2 / 33820 options being set by calculator. The last number does not seem to correlate to your 32836. Not sure why?

Do I enter the code exactly on the phone including the +7 on the end or just the 15 digit numerical code?

Sorry for the confusion....and Thanks again.
