i responded to you in the other thread, you didnt see it?

i use WinDCT4 2.0 + dongle.

Not personally familiar with that setup... Does it take raw flash files or will it accept Phoenix Based flashes??

By the way will it read out the flash files of DCT 4 and if so which ones have you read.. Also what type of dongle does it use?

i am not certain whether it will accept Phoenix based flashes, the dealer says it uses nokia original ones. if you want i can send you a file or two from the included flashes so you can see whether its phoenix or not?

unfortunately it cannOT read flashes, if it did id have no problems :/

as for the type of dongle, i am not certain but i think it may be the one that has the schematics for it flowing aroudn on the web.
the dongle and the software are labeled WinDCT4 2.0

Well the Phoenix files are 'Nokia Original Ones' so should work...

How big are the files you have?? Curious to see if it is the same as Neelix files etc...

What versions of 8390 do you have??

save yourself the time, the Neelix files are not compatible with 'nokia original'/phoenix, i have tested them and i have them if you want, they are in entirely different format.

neelixII flashes i have in 7.00, 7.70 and 7.80 versions

i dont have any 8390 files in the original format and that is why i desperately need them, i'm trying to fix my own phone by reflashing to any version. otherwise i have to pay some guy $60 to do it for me (the phone itself is barely worth $100 by now)

can you help in any way?

Neelix files are not compatible with WinDCT4, sorry.

yes, i joined a phone servicing group (www.phbtq.com)
i was able to flash my phone with a neelix2 box.
