I buy a NOKIA N70 locked at Vodafone (I think). There are some way to verify directly in the phone what is the service provider ?

The problem is the box is of another phone. I verified that imei obtained in the phone (*#06#)is not equal to the one of the box. The phone has Vodafone's mark.
I can see product code directly on the phone?

Your product code for your phone is underneath the battery next to where it says: CODE. It should be 7 digits. For example: 0529238 (that's mine, an n70 that is factory unlocked)

PS electrophoretic, how can you tell this from the product code? I always wondered what the product code meant and how it worked!
