Need help! 6680 lock code after format

hello all :)
i'm a noob in mobile world

i have a 6680 in Portugal - Vodafone
recently reading some foruns i tried to do the following:



Do a Full phone formatting on your 6680! as steps below,
1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.
2. Backup your con cts list and personal files to MMC memory card.
3. Switch-off your 6680 phone.
4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!
5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 6680 will back to original system and factory settting.

and now phone boots up, nokia logo appears, and all it does is asking 'lock code' in a box above nokia logo

can someone please help me out?

please administrators should understand, i'm NOT asking unlock codes, i simply dont know what can i do now... phone is unusable :o

It sounds like it is asking for the default security code, which is usually 12345.

Othwerwise it might need the PUK code, which your network should provide for free.

I had the same situation 3 months ago with my 3660.. i think ur phone asking for the MMC pass.. Once my 3660 made an MMC pass as same as my pin code :eek: Does the formatting unlocked ur phone?? :-o
