Hi guys
I am Faiq from Pakistan.
Just got Nokia 3586i with a GOCDMA Connection.
I have notebook and want to connect it to internet thru Nokia 3586i.
But so far unsuccessful. My CDMA Connection Provider is unable to provide support for this Handset and asked me to purchase the Desktop Sets. As I need mobility thats why i dont want to buy Deskstop set.
I have DKU-5 Data Cable. Its connecting all ok to PC Suite. But I have been unable to use it as a modem.
I have tried number of solutions but still unsuccesful.
I tried installing nokia modem files, then thru Standard Modem 19200 on com ports ... no success
My CDMA provider website is www.gocdma.com.pk
They are running on 1900 MHz
The Internet Dial up no. is #777
Can you please tell me how to run internet on my notebook thru Nokia 3586i
I would like to tell u one thing more. I searched on the internet. found some forums too. Tried their solutions but no success. On one of the forum I read the net wont work on digital signals. It will work only in Analog Mode. I did that but recieve the messege No Service.
