Hi -

I'm sure that the answers to my question appear in other threads, but I've read quite a few, and they just seem to confuse me.

I'd be grateful if someone could just tell me, or point me to, simple instructions on how to unlock a Nokia 1100 on T-Mobile UK. I don't understand all the technical terms (apart from the obvious ones like IMEI number) that I see in other threads. So:

Where can I find the necessary unlock codes?
If using an online form or downloaded calculator, what settings do I have to use for my phone?
Do I have to insert/remove a SIM before attempting to unlock my phone?
How do I enter the unlock codes?

Many thanks for your patience and kind assistance :)

PS - I tried the NokiaFREE Unlock Codes Calculator v3.10. I entered both the +1 and the +7 code, and both gave a Code Error message. I guess that means I've only got three attempts left, so I need help in getting the right code next time. Thanks!

Your mobile is locked to T-mobile UK..You have to unlock your mobile before using it in other country..This unlocking can be done by many ways..But i suggest you to use the codes..because this is the safe and easy way of unlocking..If you wanna code, get it from Unlock-free.com (http://www.unlock-free.com/nokia/nokia-1100.html) .This will help you to unlock your mobile easily..
