!!! sim card probelm!!!!!

i have got a nokia 7600 and when i put any sim card in nothing cums up i have charge it new battery i think the is a probelm with the arial do you have a clue what to do

Ok, First a check of whats wrong....

When you insert a sim card and power up the phone it starts, plays the tune and goes to the main screen but you get no reception?
