Nokia 3100 unlock

Hello all
i haave a nokia 3100 , i calculated the unlock codes using the calculator, but none of them did work, so now i can just unlock it with the cable. so i have 2 probs :

1) for the next time ,how do i know which code i have to use from the 7 calculated?

2)now i have to use the cable , do u have any software i can use, and if u do what are the sttings i have to put in to do that?

The only way you can unlock a hardlocked phone is by using a special clip or box, best taking it to a small repair shop who can unlock it!
