i may be wrong but the 6280 is neither duct4 or 3 its a bb5 and can not be unlockeed at the curent time by the nokia calc or any other way that i know. the only way that i know of is by going to your servace provider(people u brought your phone from, vodafone....ect) and buy a code from them.

I am new in here..I have been looking around to find a way to unlock 6280/6288.

Lot of members post with requesting for unlock codes..I have been doing the same before and now I know that it is pointless and it will create a mess in the forums with all these requests...

If we all read and search the forum regarding that issue we will see that they cant be unlocked at this point of time....

i keep reading and reading and all i see is people submitting their info, imei etc asking for codes and there is no responses back...I have been going through many many pages until I came to this conclusion that these cant be unlocked....

If people read before post, then some of us don't have to go through all those posts....finding nothing...

would have been good if the threads had proper titling instead of titles like "help"....be more specific and help us all to find what we want easier.....
