Hi
I have a handset branded by Orange in the UK. The active standby screen is preconfigured, and the options to switch it off or edit it appear to have been removed from the settings menu
(Settings/Phone/Standby/Active Standby)
I managed to remove it one time, by switching the clock type from analogue to digital, but it came back and i havent been able to repeat this workaround since. I have a task manager running on the phone that is capable of terminating threads, applications and processes, and I have FExplorer to view the filesystem of the phone
I'd rather find a permanent way to turn off the active standby. Does anyone know how to re-enable the menu items that Orange have switched off? Maybe by de-branding the phone? How is this done?
