3200 signal loss

Hi,
I unlocked the 3200 and worked great for 3 weeks, suddenly there is a massive loss of signal.
It is dropping to zero at times and rises to 3-4 bars often.
I can make calls and receive calls when it is high!
I know the phone is not blocked or barred as it is my own property.
Any ideas greatfully received!

Any other symptom? If there are mor signals, sounds like a hardware failure. If it's indeed a hardware problem, I'll move this to hardware section.

No other symptoms whatsoever!
Everything works as it was meant to be.
I checked all hardware as much as possible without finding any fault.
I even "Greased" the antennae,

Could be a cell of your provider failing, hence your phone may be losing signal in certain places..

Does this erratic behaviour occur only at certain places, or when you move (meaning, move from your house to another place in your city for example... enough distance to force the phone to register in another cell) it also has this problems?
